How We Raise Funds & What They Are Used For

  • We Raise Funds via:
  • Goats Reside on Goat Island from Jun – Oct (weather water-level permitting)
  • Funds go Toward:
    • Feeding the Goats: Pellet Food, Hay, Water, Animal Cracker Treats
    • Fuel for Pontoon Used by FOGI Volunteers to get to Island to Feed Goats
    • Island Maintenance (Shed, Pellet Dispenser, Feeding Bins & Utensils)
    • Medicine for Goats
    • Shelter & Care of Goats During the off season (Oct – May)
  • Goat Fest (first Saturday in August)
  • Special Appearances:
    • Goats arrive on Goat Island in June, weather permitting
    • Goats visit shops on Main St prior to Goat Fest
    • Goats spend the day at Goat Fest, first Saturday in August
    • Goats walk during Gemuetlichtkeit Days Parade
    • Goats make appearance at Harvest Fest
  • Goats leave Goat Island in October
  • Goats are on floats for Christmas Parades
